Having some free time, Harry Gruen decided to stop by the Six Sentence Café & Bistro (SSC&B) and see his favorite bartender, Denise.
“Hello Luv!” He said as he slid onto the bar stool, “How about you fix me something to take the edge off and then we can talk about going out sometime.”
Denise gave Harry a quirky smile and turned to reach for a dusty bottle on the very top shelf.
She mixed a glass with a vial produced from underneath the bar and served the concoction that swirled with colors like a kaleidoscope to Harry.
Harry paused as the drink seemed familiar, but shrugged and lifted his glass, “Bottoms up, Luv.”
Harry woke up naked, upside down and duct taped to the flagpole thinking, “Not again!”

Let’s see Dickens top that! Serial fiction for the 21st C Reader… all the twists, turns, damsels in distress (or in this case in control) that used to languish in magazines, a month at a time. A bit faster on the action or plot twists, this online serial fiction, no?
Given the creative talent and personal inclinations of the demographic of this bloghop, the mind boggles at the thought of how your Six plays out in the Reader’s imaginations.

The Bartender was just having a little fun with Harry 😆 Mr. Gruen should not hesitate to frequent the SSC&B. Besides, no one ever found out what the “assignment” was from when he was in a couple of weeks ago 😉

I think Harry will be coming back to SSC&B.
His assignment? Does confetti tube aimed at Mimi ring a bell?
Harry’s assignments are weird and varied and sometimes nonsensical. Who gives him these assignments and why is the question no one has ever answered.
